Very Limited Quantity!! Yes, you can still take an additional 15% off with pickup at the farm!

First, a word on our current in stock beef. These steers look GREAT. The marbling is in the High Choice and Low Prime range. Prime is the grade that only the finest (and most expensive) steak houses use, but this wasn't raised in a feedlot.

For those looking to stock up for the lowest prices, and who also have plenty of freezer space, here's your best deal. It's a big investment so we've provided plenty of information:

This allows you to order a known quantity of beef for a flat rate. Most farms charge you by the hanging weight, which means you don't know how much beef you'll get or how much it will cost until you actually get it. You also may have to pick it up from the butcher yourself and then pay them separately. Plus there's no telling how long you'll have to wait! We believe there's too much confusion involved in that, so we've simplified it.

A 1/8 portion of beef is typically about 50 lbs, so that's exactly what you'll get. You'll get a mix of the beef exactly how it is harvested from the animal, which means that a quarter of what you get will be steaks (~12+ lbs.), a quarter will be roasts, ribs, and pre sliced cuts (~12+ lbs.), and half will be ground beef (~25 lbs.).

Best of all, if it's listed as in stock, we can have it ready for you in a week or less.

VERY IMPORTANT DIFFERENCE:

When buying from other farms, you will often see the price expressed as $5 - $6 per pound and you're thinking "wow, that's a great deal and so much cheaper than Hi Brau Beef..." Make sure you're comparing apples to apples!

That cheaper price is typically called the "hanging weight price". It's the weight of the animal after the hide and organs have been removed. That is not what you actually receive. What you actually receive is the "packaged weight price", and that's what we use for pricing. It's the actual amount of beef you get and is the most accurate way to price for the customer. It's typically around half of the hanging weight amount. In other words, you may be paying a lower rate to get 900 lbs of hanging beef, but you'll only receive 400 lbs of packaged beef.

When you buy from Hi Brau Beef, we've already taken away all of the stuff you won't eat so that you're only paying for what goes into your freezer.

Keep in mind that local pick up gets a 15% discount, making this one heck of a deal. We invite you to compare our price and quality to other places.

Standard Pricing (does not include 15% local pickup discount):

Eight: 50 lbs for $800 ($16/lb)*

Quarter: 100 lbs for $1,500 ($15/lb)*

Half: 200 lbs for $2,900 ($14.5/lb)*

Whole: 400 lbs for $5,600 ($14/lb)*

*Does not apply to Special Release Varieties. Not always available.

Please make sure you have adequate freezer space if you order one of these quantities. We usually figure on a cubic foot of freezer space for 25 lbs of beef, meaning that this will take about two cubic feet.

As always, every piece of premium beef will be dry aged for a minimum of two weeks, vacuum sealed, and flash frozen to preserve freshness. Ground Beef comes in tube (sausage style) packs, and steaks are packaged two per pack.
